| Our
congregation worships on Sunday morning from 9:00-10:30 am. We meet in the
chapel at the Calvary
Center for Community and Culture. During the school year, when Sunday
School is offered, a snacktime follows the service downstairs in the fellowship
hall. This is a wonderful time to get to know each other and our guests
better. If you visit on a Sunday when we are celebrating a fellowship meal
together after the service, please stay and join us! Enter the building through the door on the Baltimore Avenue side of the church. Restrooms are on the lower level. There is no elevator in the building. If you have special needs and wish to attend a service or other event at WPMF, please contact the administrative assistant in advance. Five congregations and nearly a dozen community and cultural organizations call The Calvary Center home. Calvary United Methodist Church has been worshipping on this corner for over 100 years, and has welcomed other faith groups into its space: Grace Chapel Pentecostal Church, Kol Tzedek West Philadelphia Synagogue, Thompson Temple of Faith, and our congregation. Other programs and partners include Cedar Park Neighbors, Crossroads Music Series, Curio Theatre Company, International Action Center, 12-Step Programs, Prometheus Radio Project, University City Historical Society, Martial Arts classes, and the Center for Grieving Children & Families. |
